Flynt of Hustler fame. I have worked for VCA a number of times over the years. I used to have to go sit in the Russ
office and wait for him to buy my film. The funny thing about Russ is that he used to knock off movies before he
became wealthy. Then when he made it big he used to throw around his weight in the industry. He would demand
that others follow his rules or he would blackball you.
I know that he was a nasty drunk. I was at a party in Las Vegas during a show; the party was at a suite in the Rio
Casino. Russ was real drunk and he was being a real dick, I wanted to fuck him up good. People told me no you
cant do that, you won’t work anymore…blah, blah, blah… I just grabbed his roll around his belly and that was it.
Russ backs Rob Spallone in a couple of ventures over the years. I know he help out Mike Esposito when he got out
of lock up.
The best part of the Russ story is when he decided to have his partner Walter killed. He was introduced to the
Animal when he was running the streets. They met at a coffee shop and what Russ did not know was that the Animal
had purchased a cheap recorder from Radio Shack. They met and Russ starts in crying about how Walter is ruining
him. Walter is wasting way too much money on cocaine etc.. The Animal agrees to take the contract. They meet the
next week and Russ brings the cash, twenty-five grand. Then the Animal takes the cash and plays him the tape.
Russ knows he is done, so he just hands over the cash. The Animal hits him up until one day Russ says he is
tapped out.
I hear that other guys went back and got some more from him.
One time I was in Las Vegas at the VCA booth and Walter said to a guy I know, you know I could make you
disappear. I thought this was funny because Walter is weak cocksucker like Russ..
