DOUBLE HEADER
Jimmy Frattiano
The Image of the two men slumped over in their car with a shattered windshield would become world
famous.  The murder of the two men who both happened to be named Tony would even be in the Oscar
winning picture LA Confidential.  The truth about the well planned execution would be told by the actual
shooter Jimmy Frattiano.  There would be a lot said about Jimmy after he became an informant
The one thing they could not say about him was that he was not a first rate killer.
The two men who would be executed just off Hollywood Blvd on Ogden street must have  had a death wish.
They had robbed a Las Vegas Sports Book at gun point.  They were not bright guys, they were hard case
muscle for hire guys who used armed robbery to generate cash.  The Sports Book would prove to be the
last robbery they would pull.  They were both parked in a car on Ogden street when Jimmy and a guy
known as Bats approached.  Jimmy was feeling that surreal feeling, almost like he was watching a movie in
which he was the star.  Bats must have looked like a Zombie, because this was not his thing.
The Tony's were completely unaware that there was a getaway car and a crash car parked on Hollywood
Blvd with two more LA Family guys.  Bats quickly sat behind the driver as Jimmy slide in behind the
passenger, Jimmy closed the door as he palmed his 38cal pistol.  Jimmy never said a word as he squeezed
off two rounds which smashed into the back of the Tony seated in the passenger seats head. Blood,
brains and gray smoke filled the air. Jimmy never stopped, in one fluid motion he turned slightly, squeezing
off four more shots into the drivers torso. Jimmy then noticed that Bats had sat through the whole thing
without drawing his pistol. Jimmy screamed loudly because of the ringing in his ears.  Bats then snapped
out of his trance, pulling his 38cal pistol and firing into the back of the drivers head. Bats bolted out of the
car as Jimmy walked to the getaway car.  Two minutes is how long it took for Jimmy to send two men to
their maker.
