Petti has been linked to organized crime activities in Chicago and Southern California. His criminal
history dates back to 1960 with convictions for assaults, thefts, bookmaking and money laundering. His
last conviction came in 1993 for extortion, racketeering and fraud after an investigation into the Chicago
organized crime family's attempts to skim profits from an Indian casino in Southern California. Petti is
currently incarcerated on these charges.
