This former head of the Los Angeles Organized crime strike is the person responsible for breaking the LA
Family. He attended Law School in Tempe Arizona and was admitted to the California Bar in 1982.
Jim left Arizona for a job in Chicago as a Prosecutor on the Chicago Organized Crime Strike Force.
Once in Chicago Jim received a call from the insane mobster Sam De Stefano who was a crazed killer and
Shylock. Sam loved to invite the new guys in town over for a cup of his special blend of coffee that included his
urine. Jim never fell for this coffee trick because he was tipped off by a veteran FBI Agent.
Jim went on to prosecute top Outfit guys like Mad Sam and Tony the Antman for over six years in Chicago.
Jim had a reputation so renowned as a gangbuster that he caught attention of the Attorney General who
promoted Jim to the top spot in the Los Angeles Strike force.
The move to LA spelled the end of the LA Family as Jim was able to flip acting boss Jimmy Frattiano and
Mafia Enforcer Tony "The Animal" Fiato who put away hundreds of their Mafia cohorts.
Jim retired from his illustrious career as a Government Gangbuster and went into private practise.
Jim now has brilliant career as defence attorney in Los Angeles. Jim has represented clients like LA
Pornographer Kevin Beecum who he was able to keep out of prison for his role in the bombings of Adult
bookstores. In a twist Jim also helped LA Family Capo Louie "Little Man" Caruso escape a long prison term.
So we must give a special thanks to men like James D Henderson who put in countless hours for low wages to
break up these organized crime groups. Jim proved valuable to the Governments fight against the mob which
is good because prosecuting chickens for crossing state lines in Arizona would have a been a waste of talent.
